Event Management Veterans Launch CRUX Events, LLC
9/18/2008 - Whether it involves well-known brands such as Crocs, Fender, Merrill Lynch and Tommy Hilfiger, dynamic events such as 48Straight, Battle of the Gridiron Stars and the Winter X Games, or broadcast coverage on CBS Sports, NBC Sports or ESPN, there’s a good chance that the team assembled by newly formed event management company, CRUX Events, LLC, has been involved.

CRUX Events, led by 20-year event management veteran, James Woodruff, recently launched its operations with 10 employees working from four national offices in Ketchum, Idaho; San Francisco; Truckee, California; and Washington, DC. The company’s core offerings include event production, live television operations, hospitality, music production, event marketing and promotions.

Joining Woodruff at CRUX Events is a dynamic group of event management specialists who have amassed over a century’s worth of experience on the national and international stages through their work with award winning entities such as The Ski Tour, Eclipse Television & Sports Marketing and Global Event Management, among others.

Truckee's CRUX Events & Party Rentals expands services and equipment


TRUCKEE — Turning simple gatherings of friends and family into an unforgettable Tahoe celebration, CRUX Events and Party Rents has further distinguished itself with more services and equipment.

Some new additions include a state-of-the art sound system and a lightweight modular stage fit for a concert of any size, a cutting-edge photo booth and new lounge furniture. Event management veteran and owner of CRUX Events, James Woodruff, has also added local sound expert Damon Gold to the team as the driving force behind their new JBL Line Array sound system.

Used in this year's Truckee Rotary Cadillac Ball, the new portable photo booth was added to the mix of offerings as a bonus of entertainment to any event.
